Mas de Masos

The Finca Mas de Masos is protected within the D.O.Q. Priorat and la form two valleys, occupying a total area of 60 ha., of which 14 are dedicated to viticulture and the rest are areas of oak, pine and some oak forest. Production is around 1500 to 2000 kg/ha.

The land of the farm is composed of different types of slate popularly called "licorella". The farm has an average gradient of 30% and ranges from 350 to 600 meters above sea level.

 

The grapes used at Finca Mas de Masos are native varieties such as Garnatxa del País, Garnatxa Peluda, Carinyena, Moscatel and Garnatxa Blanca combined with new varieties such as Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier.

 

Our best wine, MAS DE MASOS, is born from the oldest vineyard planted in 1952.

 

From the highest altitude vineyards, a great selection of aging is born, the MASOS D'EN CUBELLS.

 

SIRSELL is born from Grenaches with slopes of 40%.

 

From our white Grenache and Viognier we obtain a white wine, ENLLAÇ.

The climate is temperate and dry with a rainfall of 300 to 500 l/m2 per year. This property faces south, being protected from the dry winds of the north and caressed by the humid winds of the Mediterranean.
